School talks

HER Fund sees gender education a key to bring greater support and giving to women¡¦s rights work from the community. This year, since school term started in September to December, we have delivered 5 talks reaching to 800 girls students in different forms at St. Stephen Girls College. We are grateful to our school talk volunteer team who supported us to conduct these talks with their expertise on gender awareness raising. The themes of the talks covered both personal and social issues, including girls¡¦ self identity, self protection, women and poverty, violence against women, gender stereotyping in mass media. There will be another 5 talks coming up in the following school term in 4 different secondary schools, and we look forward to communicating and interacting with more girls and boys students on gender issues.
