| Objectives: | HER Fund strive to mobilize resources for the empowerment of women, girls and trans, through grantmaking and capacity building. We also promote social change and gender equality and raise social awareness of their issues. HER Fund is not just a funder. We see our grantees as our partners. Through grant-making, networking, capacity building, resource mobilization, project monitoring and evaluation, we aim at achieving the following objectives: 1.) Ensure the social visibility of issues about gender and sexual orientation, particularly those neglected or newly arisen, and to initiate changes from an intersectional perspective; 2.) Enhance the resilience of grassroots organisation s or community leaders as they navigate challenges so that the organisation s can develop sustainably. It includes building the capacity to mobilize resources, exploring transformative feminist leadership, etc; 3.) Build alliances of mutual help and solidarity among marginalised communities in which everyone can feel that they are seen, respected and supported. |
