| Outline | Children of Deaf Adults (CODA) was established in 2013 as the first mutual support organisation for deaf parents and their children.
Their project conducts photography and video workshops that portray the intersecting identities of women in Deaf families – as a woman, a carer, an unpaid worker, a disabled person or a family member of a deaf person – and presents their situations through images and videos. In order to encourage participants to express themselves and promote deaf inclusion, the workshop's final products will be published in a photo book and presented in a sign language video by female workshop participants. |
