| Outline | This project aims to address the issues of period poverty and education, particularly targeting ethnic minority women living in Hong Kong. Because menstruation is still considered a taboo topic, it is often difficult to access or share information on a daily basis. As a result, many ethnic minority women lack menstrual education resources and awareness of body autonomy. Community Cultural Concern hope to expand the group receiving menstrual education by collaborating with more organizations that support ethnic minority women. This project aims to provide menstrual health education, share accurate scientific knowledge, introduce various menstrual products, and encourage women to share their own stories and feelings. The goal is to enable these women to understand and choose the menstrual products that suit them, eliminate shame, promote body autonomy, and ultimately build confidence and improve their quality of life. |
