Refugee women is legally barred from working therefore have to live on humanitarian assistance package that places them below the poverty line. Without families or community support, they are extremely isolated. This project is to empower refugee women with trainings on human rights, advocacy, public speaking, Hong Kong politics and exchange with local NGO advocates, in order to raise their awareness on human rights, and equip them the capacities to influence policies and political processes that affect their lives.
