This project is the fourth phase of the Gender Equality Leadership Programme by Onebookhalf Gender Space and the Association for the Advancement of Feminism. This programme aims to cultivate a new generation of advocates for gender equity. In the first three phases, the apprentices have gained vital knowledge on gender issues as well as hands-on experience in effecting change. This phase is focused on the relation between space and gender. The apprentices will visit four community organisations so that they can inspire one another and plant the seeds for collaborations down the road. At the end of the programme, the apprentices and Onebookhalf will publish a zine together to document the outcomes. This phase will further consolidate the practice of effecting change rooted in community. |
