Outline

A lot of migrant workers in Hong Kong are encountering enormous challenges in the lack of resources during the COVID-19 pandemic. Some of them were forced to leave their work by their employers and became jobless and homeless.

In light of this, the project is granted to support migrant workers who undergo quarantine, hospitalisation or are forced to leave their workplace-cum-residence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and assisting the recovered migrant worker to return to work. The project seeks to provide timely and adequate assistance to migrant workers affected by the pandemic and address their needs by providing them with materials including anti-epidemic supplies, food and daily necessities, as well as psychological support. It is hoped that with the support given by the project, migrant workers can tide over the hardship arising from the pandemic, and feel the love and compassion in such tough times.
