Grant Projects

The project is to record in detail the life experiences from working overseas to returning home of Indonesian women migrant workers who worked in Hong Kong. It aims to explore how migrant workers’ destiny have been affected by Indonesia and global economic development and how they have tried to get back the autonomy by collective resistance. The story will be translated into English and Indonesian. Short videos and brochures will be produced and a sharing will be organized to eliminate the discrimination against migrant workers as well as the misunderstanding between local and migrant workers and two parties can stay together to fight for the common rights.
